Jeroen Menting, KPMG, Partner IT Advisory Qatar and Bahrain
Jeroen has advised many (global) clients on IT Strategy & Performance, including assessing feasibility of large IT initiatives and turnaround of IT businesses.

Special interest of Jeroen is in the areas of IT Security and Business Continuity Management, in which he was involved on many implementations in the oil & gas, public sector and the financial services industry over the last couple of years.

Over the last two decades Jeroen has led and managed many Systems Selections and Implementations - including required infrastructure - across the globe for many large (international) companies in the public, financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing and transportation sector.

Jeroen has played key role as a member or Trusted Advisor to Steering Committees in many countries and in various projects that he has overseen as a Senior Advisor or Program Manager and as a Steering Committee member himself. He is a regular key note speaker on cloud computing and security across the Middle East.

 
Arthur Melet, Senior Research Analyst, Oil & Gas, IDC Energy Insights, Middle East & Africa
Arthur joined IDC Energy Insights as a senior research analyst for the oil and gas sector in 2012. In this role, he contributes to IDC's oil and gas sector research, covering the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, Russia, and Central Asia, while also working on custom consulting projects and presenting at oil and gas events across the region.

Arthur has significant experience in the field of IT security: he has published a white paper on the most recent cyber security trends in the Oil and Gas industry in September 2012, and conducted several consulting projects in the field of IT security assessment for a major National Oil Company in the Gulf Region.

Prior to joining IDC, Arthur worked as the energy attaché at the French Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He also worked as an analyst at the French energy regulation authority (CRE). Arthur has previous experience working as a consultant in the energy sector at Capgemini Consulting in Paris, France. Arthur Melet graduated from Science Po Rennes and holds a master's degree in management of innovation from Ecole Centrale Paris.


 
Roger Hickman, Executive Director Finance, Qatar International Petroleum Marketing,
Company (Tasweeq)
Roger joined Tasweeq in 2011 as CFO, seconded from Royal Dutch Shell. Tasweeq markets and sells all Regulated Products for export for the State of Qatar, amounting to over $35 billion in 2012.
As CFO, Roger is responsible for the Finance, Treasury, IT and Procurement functions. Before joining Tasweeq, Roger was Global Head of Business Integrity for Royal Dutch Shell based in London and The Hague. Roger started his career with KPMG in London and South Africa where he worked for over ten years.
Roger has worked in many parts of the world, including Europe, the US, Asia, Middle East and Africa. Roger has a dual qualification as a Chartered Accountant and lawyer. He previously taught law to undergraduate students and finance to MBA students. Roger is married and has three daughters. They live in Doha.
